Dr Susan has been an integral part of keeping our westie Tac at the top of his show dog career and allowing us to breed the next generation of quality westies.
We first went to Susan with our girl Rumour when she didn’t fall pregnant when all indicators pointed to it should have happened. Dr Susan started with a hair test that revealed issues with her gut and so with treatment we got her back to being nutritionally balanced and she produced 5 healthy puppies at her next mating.
We started taking Tac to Susan two years ago after we noticed he wasn’t at his usual top level of energy and his coat appeared a bit dull. She again worked on his gut which improved his overall health including removing a bit of ‘dog smell’ from his coat. His coat improved and his overall energy levels returned to normal.
He went back to his high performing self and is one of the top winning show dogs in Tasmania and the top winning westie in Australia. He has on-going regular musculoskeletal balancing to ensure he stays in top shape and it keeps him feeling good in himself. Makes sleeping on the couch all that more comfortable!
Whilst he is about to retire from the show ring now he is 7 y.o he will continue to see Susan to keep him in top shape as he gets older and he would miss her if he didn’t have his visits.

I'm so grateful for Susan's unwavering support for Terry dog. He came to me as an adult, with several challenges, and a mostly unknown history. He was clearly anxious and had been used for protection. Initially Susan suggested a raw natural diet, targeted nutritional supplements and behavioural modifications (for me, as well as Terry!). Then he was ready for a purpose, and that was us learning scent work. He thrived on this for nearly 5 years, with acupuncture and dietary modifications as needed. After being viciously attacked by another dog, he became stiff, sore and very anxious, particularly around home trying to protect me from welcome visitors. His coat was balding and greasy, with a severe fungal skin condition and his ears suffered badly. I thought we had reached the end, but Susan gave him another lease of life. Using her skills to combine acupuncture, nutritional balancing, relationship balancing and microbiome restoration. His gut health was key and he is currently a senior dog, active with a good skin condition and a more relaxed zest for life. I can't thank you enough, Susan

Client Love

I am very grateful for finding Dr Susan Peden at a time when my dear Bailey (labradoodle) had lost his forever soul mate Mollie. Bailey was grieving and emotionally at a loss. Dr Susan’s holistic treatment included emotionally balancing (kinesiology), hair testing to assess the heavy metal load and acupuncture treatments. Within a short time, Bailey gained his zest for life and was bouncing around like a 2 year old. One year later, Razzy (labradoodle) puppy was introduced to our home. Shortly after, Razzy presented with challenging eating and gut disorders, chronic ear issues and blocked tear ducts. This health diagnosis equated to pain and complex behavioural and environmental issues that required more than the traditional main stream services. Razzy’s hair test results showed a significant toxic load and nutritional imbalance that was affecting his gut-brain axis. Thank you Dr Susan for getting Razzy on track with his nutritional plan, complementary therapies and now healthy microbiome. I have witnessed the “wellness” in my dogs and thank Dr Susan for sharing her incredible wealth of knowledge and expertise so that others may find her. Razzy will be “bounding” into the waiting room next visit.
